No Deposit Casino Bonuses in Canada

We checked nine recurring claims against current operator pages. Three Ontario offers can be received without a deposit, but two still require a cash deposit before withdrawal. One more leaves the withdrawal terms undisclosed. This page separates receiving a bonus from being able to cash it out.

What the rule says
Public promotion is restricted
Standard 2.05 restricts public advertising of inducements, bonuses and credits. It does not ban operators from offering them.
The operator page is the source
Check the code, province and withdrawal terms on the operator's current Ontario page. Caesars, for example, uses WELCOMEON20 on its own registration flow.

The Ontario rule

What AGCO Standard 2.05 Changes

The standard controls where operators and their representatives may advertise bonuses. It does not prohibit the offers themselves, and it does not settle whether winnings are withdrawable.

Public advertising is restricted

Standard 2.05 prohibits public advertising of gambling inducements, bonuses and credits by operators and third parties acting on their behalf.

Operator-site offers are allowed

An operator may display an offer on its own gaming site. Direct marketing is also allowed after the player gives active consent and can withdraw that consent.

The full terms still decide value

No deposit to receive does not necessarily mean no deposit to withdraw. Wagering, eligible games, expiry and cashout conditions must be checked separately.

Spin Casino
Confirmed · verification offer

Casino Classic
No current Ontario offer found

Casino Classic's current Ontario welcome offer is deposit-based: up to C$500 across the first three deposits, with a C$10 minimum and 30× wagering. The three-free-chances claim appears only on a legacy generic page, not the current Ontario promotion.

Canada offer · Ontario excluded

888casino currently offers a C$25 no-deposit bonus in Canada excluding Ontario. The official terms use an on-site or email claim notice, with 1× wagering over 90 days; they do not support the older FIRST888 terms previously shown here.

No-deposit status not disclosed

FanDuel currently promotes 1,000 Bonus Spins for new Ontario customers, but the public page does not disclose the qualifying action or withdrawal terms. The older C$25 registration claim is not treated as the current offer.

Ontario offers are account-specific

Stardust directs Ontario players to the Rewards & Bonuses area inside their account. No current public Ontario terms confirm a registration no-deposit offer, so US promotional amounts and game details are not used here.

JackpotCity
Existing-player rewards only

There is no confirmed signup no-deposit offer. Jackpot City's birthday reward varies and is not guaranteed, loyalty credits come from real-money play, and the Bonus Wheel may award no-deposit rewards only to eligible existing players after their welcome-offer cycle.

Spin Away
Ontario terms not publicly verified

Spin Away's promotions page required a Cloudflare and JavaScript session during our Ontario check. We could not verify a current no-deposit offer or confirm that none exists, so the widely repeated 20-free-spins claim is not presented as current Ontario information.

Cost to clear

What a No-Deposit Bonus Is Really Worth

A bonus credited without a deposit is not necessarily withdrawable without one. The current Caesars and BetMGM terms make that distinction explicit.

Two current offers, two separate hurdles

Caesars' C$20 carries 1× wagering, so the published playthrough is C$20. BetMGM's C$100 carries 10× wagering, so the published playthrough is C$1,000. In both cases, completing that wagering is not the final cashout step: the official terms also require at least one real-money deposit before bonus-derived funds can be withdrawn.

Four questions to answer before playing
  • Receive trigger: is registration enough, or must identity verification finish first?
  • Wagering: what amount must be bet, on which eligible games, and by what deadline?
  • Withdrawal gate: must a cash deposit be made even after wagering is complete?
  • Missing public terms: an undisclosed spin count or cashout rule is unknown, not zero.

The 5 Types of No-Deposit Offer

"No deposit" covers a few different things. Here's what each one really gives you.

Free cash / bonus credit

A fixed bonus balance credited after registration. Caesars and BetMGM both require a later cash deposit before bonus-derived funds can be withdrawn.

Free spins

Spins credited after a qualifying step. Spin Casino confirms a verification-based Ontario offer, but its public card leaves the spin count and cashout conditions undisclosed.

Free chips / chances

A small number of plays on a named game. Check that the claim appears in the current provincial terms, not only on an old generic promotion page.

On-the-house credit

Operator marketing for bonus credit (BetMGM's C$100). Often bundled with a deposit offer and not withdrawable until you deposit.

Birthday / loyalty

Account-specific rewards for existing players. Jackpot City's birthday reward varies and is not guaranteed, while loyalty credits require prior real-money play.

"Newest No Deposit": Usually a Fresh Offer, Not a New Casino

Search results often mix up a newly launched casino with a newly published no-deposit offer. They are different things.

Most people typing “newest casino no deposit” want the latest no-deposit-style offer, not a brand-new operator, and in regulated Canada those offers refresh quietly on the casino's own site, with no public codes. New AGCO casinos also almost always launch with a deposit match, not a no-deposit bonus. If it's newly launched casinos you're after, that's a different list.

The code trap

No-Deposit Codes & the Ontario Trap

Ontario's public-bonus rules make many codes you see in search results unusable or misleading. Check the operator's current terms before entering one.

What's almost always fake
  • A site calls a code “exclusive” but cannot point to matching terms on the operator's current Ontario page.
  • The page copies a Canada-wide or US promotion without checking whether Ontario is included.
  • The headline says “no deposit” but omits a deposit requirement that appears later in the withdrawal terms.
What's real
  • Offers shown with current provincial terms on the operator's own gaming site.
  • Direct offers sent after active consent, with the full conditions available inside the Ontario account.

The ban has teeth: the AGCO fined BetMGM C$110,000 for a “C$100 cash to start” inducement campaign, and Casino Days C$54,000 for a deceptive bonus. See the full enforcement record in the bonus hub.

How to Spot a Fake No-Deposit Offer

Before you sign up anywhere for a no-deposit deal, run it past this list.

The official terms name Canada but explicitly exclude Ontario.
The code, amount or wagering appears only on a third-party page and conflicts with the operator's current terms.
The offer can be received without a deposit, but the withdrawal section requires one later.
The terms do not state the number of spins, expiry, wagering or maximum cashout.
The promotion is called "free" even though the player must risk money, or "risk-free" even though a loss is possible.
The source is a legacy or generic promotion page rather than the current Ontario product.
