Affiliate Disclosure
We earn money when readers sign up with casinos through our links. That’s worth stating plainly, because it’s the obvious question to ask of any “best casino” site. Here’s how it works, and the one line we don’t cross.
How we get paid
When you click a “Visit” or “Claim” button and then register or deposit at an operator, that operator (or the affiliate network it works with) may pay us a referral commission. Depending on the deal, that’s a flat amount or a share of revenue. It costs you nothing extra, and your bonus or terms are exactly the same as if you’d gone there directly.
Outbound operator links on this site carry a rel="sponsored nofollow" tag, the standard way of marking a paid or affiliate link to search engines.
What the commission never changes
This is the part that matters. The money has no effect on the editorial:
- It doesn’t move a score. Our composite is built from independent ratings, the operator’s regulatory record, payout and banking, and bonus terms. Commission is not one of the inputs. See how we rate.
- It doesn’t buy a ranking. A casino cannot pay to sit higher in a list. Position follows the score, full stop.
- It doesn’t erase a fine. If an operator has an AGCO penalty or order on record, it stays in the review, commission or not.
- We cover sites that pay us nothing. Some operators we review have no affiliate program at all. They’re scored and ranked on exactly the same scale.
Why we spell this out
Disclosing a material connection between a publisher and the businesses it recommends is required by the affiliate networks we work with and is the clear expectation under Canada’s Competition Bureau guidance on influencer and endorsement marketing. It’s also just the honest way to run a review site. If we recommend a casino, you should be able to see whether we have a financial interest, and then weigh the review knowing that.
Rankings are not for sale. A casino cannot pay to rank higher, and it cannot pay to be left off the rejected list.
