Best Table Game Casinos in Canada

Online casino table games have the best odds in the building — and that's exactly why most lobbies bury them under slots. We counted: the median Canadian site runs ~23 slots for every table game, only 15 of 68 carry video poker at all, and table libraries swing from a token few to 950. Here's who actually has the games worth playing.

The smart corner

The Best-Odds Games — Buried Under the Slots

Table games reward a little knowledge with the lowest house edges in the casino. So why are they so hard to find? Three reasons, and one uncomfortable one.

The lowest house edge

Full-pay video poker (~0.5%) and baccarat's Banker (1.06%) crush slots, which run a 4–10% edge. Over time, a dollar lasts far longer at a table.

Skill actually counts

Video poker and casino hold'em reward correct strategy — every decision has a fixed math value. On a slot, your choices change nothing.

Played at your pace

RNG tables are instant and solo — no waiting for a dealer or other players, and minimums often start lower than a live table.

So lobbies bury them

Because the odds are good for you, they're low-margin for the house — which is why the median Canadian lobby stocks ~23 slots for every table game.

A lower slots-to-tables ratio means a more table-balanced lobby. Bet99 (1:1) is the rare site that stocks tables as deeply as slots; most run 20:1 or higher.

The rarest, best-odds game

Video Poker: The Best Bet Almost Nobody Stocks

Full-pay video poker returns up to 99.54% — the best odds in the casino — which is precisely why only 15 of the 68 casinos we track offer it. If it's your game, these are the lobbies that actually have it.

The pay table is the whole game

A “9/6” Jacks or Better machine pays 9 coins for a full house and 6 for a flush — and returns 99.54% with correct strategy. The same game on an “8/5” table returns just 97.30%. Identical rules, ~2.2% worse. The main variants are Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild and Bonus Poker — all reward correct holds, which cut the edge to under 1%.

Best for video poker right now: Golden Tiger (20), Grand Mondial (19), 888casino (18). Note many sites exclude video poker from bonus wagering — check the bonus terms first.

The Table-Game Odds Ladder

Every RNG table game on one ladder, ranked by house edge — what the casino keeps over the long run. The top four beat almost everything else in the building; the bottom two are sucker territory.

Video poker (9/6 Jacks or Better)
~0.46%
Full-pay, with correct strategy — the best odds on the floor. The 8/5 pay table drops it to ~2.7%.
Baccarat (Banker)
1.06%
No skill needed — just bet Banker. Player is 1.24%; the Tie bet is a trap at ~14%.
Craps (Pass / Don't Pass)
1.41% / 1.36%
Among the lowest edges in the casino, and the free Odds bet behind it pays at 0% edge.
Casino Hold'em
~2.16%
Texas Hold'em against the dealer — ante, then call 2× or fold.
Three-Card Poker
~3.37%
Beat the dealer's 3-card hand. The Pair Plus side bet is steeper at ~7.3%.
Caribbean Stud
~5.22%
Five-card stud vs the dealer, raise or fold — no drawing, higher edge.
Sic Bo
~2.8%–33%
Three-dice game; Big/Small bets are fair, the long-shot bets are brutal.
Keno / specialty
~25%–29%
Lottery-style draws — the worst odds in the building, the opposite of video poker.

House edge is the long-run average the casino keeps; the lower it is, the longer your money lasts. Side bets (Pair Plus, Tie, sic bo long shots) always carry far steeper edges — skip them. Source: published game math (Wizard of Odds).

Software Tables, Live Tables, and Where to Go Next

Same odds, different experience — and blackjack and roulette have guides of their own.

RNG tables (this page)

Instant, solo, your own pace, lower minimums, certified random outcomes. The house edge is identical to the live version of the same game — you just play faster, so pace your bankroll.

Live dealer tables

A real croupier, streamed in real time — more social, but you wait for the table and minimums run higher. Most run on Evolution's feed.
