Privacy Policy

The short version: we run a review site, not a casino. We don’t open accounts, take bets, or touch your money, so there’s very little about you for us to hold in the first place. Here’s exactly what the site does and doesn’t collect.

Who runs this site

newestcasinoscanada.com is an independent publisher that reviews regulated Canadian online casinos. We are not a gambling operator. You cannot place a bet, deposit money, or open a casino account here. Nothing on this site processes a wager. When you choose to sign up with an operator, you leave for their site, and from that point their privacy policy and terms apply, not ours.

What we collect

We keep data collection deliberately small. There are no user accounts and no login. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details, or any gambling history, and we never see your deposits or play.

What the site does record is limited to:

  • Standard server logs. Like almost every website, our host records the request basics: IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser and device type, and the page that referred you. These are used for security and to fix errors, then rotated out.
  • Aggregate analytics. We look at which guides get read and where readers drop off so we know what to improve. This is reported in aggregate (page views, rough region, device type), not tied to a name.
  • Affiliate-referral cookies. When you click a “Visit” or “Claim” link to an operator, that operator or its affiliate network may set a cookie so the referral can be credited to us. That cookie is set by them, on their domain, under their privacy policy. It is how we earn a commission, and it costs you nothing. See our affiliate disclosure.

What we never do

  • Sell, rent, or trade personal information.
  • Build advertising profiles about you or run ad-network retargeting.
  • Collect financial information. We have no way to see your banking or play.
  • Knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal gambling age. Casino content is for adults only: 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

Cookies and how to turn them off

The site uses a small number of cookies: the affiliate-referral cookies described above, plus any set by our analytics provider. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work. If you block them before clicking out to an operator, the referral simply won’t be credited to us.

Who else touches the data

A few service providers process limited data on our behalf or their own: our web host (server logs), our analytics provider (aggregate usage), and the affiliate networks behind the operator links (referral tracking). Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share a database of readers with any of them, because we don’t keep one.

Your rights under PIPEDA

Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to ask what personal information an organization holds about you, to have it corrected, and to withdraw consent. Because we don’t maintain reader accounts or profiles, in practice there is little personal information to request, but if you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we’ll respond. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Data retention

Server logs are kept only as long as they’re useful for security and debugging, then discarded. Aggregate analytics are retained in non-identifying form. We don’t keep a standing list of readers.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts collecting anything new, for example a newsletter sign-up or a named analytics tool, we’ll name it here and update the date at the top of this page.
