NorthStar Bets is one of the few Ontario-built online casinos, run from Toronto by the publicly listed NorthStar Gaming. It has an above-average 7.3/10 safety rating, fair terms, responsible-gambling accreditation, and a library of about 2,850 games on the Playtech platform. The AGCO originally ordered C$30,000 in penalties in 2024, then withdrew the C$10,000 geolocation portion and left C$20,000 for late records. In August 2026 it issued a further C$100,000 penalty over alleged anti-money-laundering failures. The player-review rating is a low 2.0/5, and in 2025 the parent company went through a management cease trade order over late filings and a C$43.4 million recapitalization.
